During the school year, many children have access to snacks or meals through the school network.
While food aid in schools takes a break during the summer, hunger does not take a break.
In response to children's needs, Moisson Montréal launched La faim des vacances campaign. Through our accredited partner organizations, nutritious snacks will be distributed to children throughout the summer. This initiative does not replace meals or solve the food insecurity experienced by families on its own, but it provides meaningful support, one small step at a time.
At the end of this campaign, every dollar raised will allow us to distribute two snacks. And thanks to your generosity and commitment, 700,000 snacks will be distributed to some 10,000 children this summer.
